The Emergency Services Department at Person Memorial Hospital offers RNs a supportive, patient-focused environment where teamwork and high-quality care are at the center of everything they do. Nurses care for a diverse patient population, build strong clinical skills, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams in a department that values professional growth, compassion, and meaningful patient connections.

How you'll contribute

As a vital member of our ER Team, you will:

• You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Use your clinical judgment and critical thinking to guide plan-of-care interventions.
• Support and enhance patient outcomes across various intensive care units.
• Be a proactive leader and innovator in patient care delivery.
• Work with advanced technologies and resources that empower exceptional care.

What we're looking for

• Current RN licensein the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
• Associate degree in Nursing (ASN)from an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)certification from theAmerican Heart Association(required)
• Active North Carolina RN license (single state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins
• Must Have one year of RN experience for PRN
