Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Dallas/Ft Worth in Plano, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN daytime role from 7:00am to 7:00pm. This per diem position offers competitive compensation and supports career growth within a large network.

The RN will perform admissions, comprehensive patient assessments, accurate documentation, telemetry interpretation, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality inpatient care.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License
• BLS is required at hire
• ACLS is required at hire

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
