Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health Hospital Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights with a background in Behavioral Health to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The RN collaborates with the health team to prescribe, coordinate, evaluate, and document patient care according to nursing standards.

Location: 3550 East Pinchot Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Schedule: 7 pm–7:30 am, 12-hour shifts with built-in overtime.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Arizona or eligible for licensure
• Background in psychiatric/behavioral health nursing required or equivalent experience in psychiatric nursing management

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a behavioral health setting
• Coordinate and document patient care with the health care team
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Assist in admissions, assessments and discharge planning

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, evaluates, and documents patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Location: 3550 East Pinchot Avenue, Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: NIGHTS - We have a set schedule: 7 pm to 7:30 am; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday or, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday. These are 12 hour days with built in overtime.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility
• 1 year of med/surge experience
