Qualifications

RN PreOp/PACU

Monocacy Surgery Center is seeking a motivated full-time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse.

Job Summary

The RN Pre-Op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-Op/PACU ensures safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations. The role supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in PreOp/PACU
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
  • Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions
