MetroHealth seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in our Cardiac Hospitalist area. The role focuses on acute care in a 24-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio, telemetry, and advanced respiratory support.
The ideal candidate has an Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and BSN or accredited nursing program. This full-time position offers rotating shifts and generous benefits, including tuition reimbursement and retirement plans.
Bi-Weekly Hours: 72.00 (Full Time)
Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays
Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for RNs with qualifying experience; $5,000 for New Graduate RNs
All Critical Care units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring. The Critical Care Step-Down (CCSD) team staffs the Cardiac Hospitalist Unit. As a medical-surgical unit, the nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.
