St. Luke’s Health System in the Treasure Valley is seeking a night shift RN to join our Clinical Support Unit (Float Pool).

Unit/Position Summary

St. Luke's Clinical Support Unit (Internal Float Pool) is searching for experienced RNs who are looking to expand their skills by supporting our Critical Care service line for our Treasure Valley hospitals—Boise, Meridian & Nampa. The department provides a high-quality float experience, requiring nurses to be energetic, flexible, and supportive of the organization's mission. CSU float pool RNs maintain competencies for each supported unit, typically 3 skill sets within one service line. Inter-facility floating is expected (Boise, Meridian, and Nampa).

Supported service lines include:

  • Medical Surgical/Telemetry: Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, Emergency Departments
  • Women's Center: Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, NICU
  • Critical Care: Critical Care, Emergency Departments, PICU, NICU, Telemetry
  • Children's Center: Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, PICU, NICU
  • Other: Chemotherapy, Resource RN, Infusion Center

Post-orientation, our Clinical Support Unit offers a 10% differential in addition to the base rate!
Sign-on bonus available for external candidates!

Responsibilities
  • Identify patient needs and determine care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans.
  • Perform assessments based on patient needs and physician diagnoses.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • Manage patient care and document according to standards.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practices and support innovations in care delivery.
  • Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
