Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Night Shift, PRN Post-Partum Couplet Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care for post-partum patients in accordance with hospital policies and Oklahoma regulations.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN, an active OK RN license, and BLS certification, with NRP to be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current OK RN License required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• NRP (must be obtained within 6 months of RN hire or transfer date).
• Unit-specific certificates.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Develop, modify and implement the plan of care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and related regulations.

• Individuals within this job classification are accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• The Registered Nurse (RN) must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• The RN is to plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
