At North Alabama Medical Center's Postpartum Unit, our nurses play a vital role in supporting mothers and newborns during recovery, education, and those first precious days of bonding. In this patient‑centered environment, you'll blend clinical expertise with compassionate care—monitoring recovery, providing hands‑on education, and empowering families with the confidence they need as they transition home. You'll work alongside a collaborative team that values support, connection, and excellence in every interaction.
You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting‑edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
