Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a day shift, part-time Post-Op Orthopedics Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care in accordance with standards to deliver high-quality, safe care.

Ideal candidates will have an ADN, an active Oklahoma RN license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. You’ll work within a supportive team at Hillcrest Medical Center, benefiting from a patient-first environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current Oklahoma RN License required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care activities according to standards to deliver quality patient care.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of patients on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrate growth and development knowledge to address age-specific patient needs.
• Develop, modify and implement the plan of care to deliver efficient, effective care as described in policies.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.


• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.


• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.


• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.


• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
