**Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Acute Inpatient Rehab**

**Work location:** Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231

**Work hours:** PRN/As Needed, Days variable shifts Monday-Friday; 1 shift per week, 1 weekend

**Post Acute Inpatient Rehab Department Highlights:**

**Here’s What You Need:**

  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
  • Associate’s degree in nursing required or
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

Additional requirements include:

  • 1 year of experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
  • RN – Registered upon hire required.
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training annually within 90 days required.
  • FIM – Functional Independent Measure within 6 months required.
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire preferred.
  • CRRN – Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse upon hire preferred.

  • Respond to basic human needs, prioritizing safety, physical, psychological, and social needs.
  • Honor human worth through unconditional acceptance, handle the body with care, demonstrate knowledge of patient rights, and call patients by their names.
  • Understand and appreciate the unique meanings and perspectives of others.
  • Engage family/caregivers in healthcare situations, collaborating with families, physicians, peers, and others.
  • Contribute to mutual problem solving, helping patients and families understand and confront health issues through shared decision-making.
