Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Polk Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support a 25-bed West Wing Sub Acute Rehab and Medical Surgical unit. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate nursing processes, and ensure safety and quality through established standards.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing program credential and Georgia RN licensure, with BLS required and ACLS preferred. Join a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes in Polk County, GA.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification preferred.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Where You Will WorkWest Wing is a 25 private bed Sub Acute Rehab and Medical Surgical unit. Patients generally considered for admission to this unit are those requiring general Medical Surgical skills and/or telemetry monitoring and are four (4) years of Age or older and those qualifying for Sub Acute Rehab services per Critical Access Hospital guidelines.
