Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Morgantown, WV, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Tier 2/PRN to support inpatient post-ICU care. The role offers 6:00–6:30 shifts, day or night, with a per diem schedule and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Per diem shifts total 2 12-hour shifts weekly and include at least 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. Responsibilities include admissions/transfers, serial patient assessments, accurate charting, data interpretation, and medication order processing.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid state RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required at hire.
• 2 12-hour shifts per week with at least 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Morgantown (located inside of Mon Health, 4th floor)

Schedule: 6:00 - 6:30, Day Shift or Night Shift available

Minimum Requirements: 2 12hr shifts/week, at least 3 weekends shifts every 6 weeks

Compensation: $58.00 per hour, plus shift differential for nights and weekends

Sign-on bonus: $7,500
