Job summary

Regency Hospital Company in Portage, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem position with a night schedule. The role is centered on providing compassionate care to critically ill patients while performing various assessments and duties related to patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and ensure medical orders are followed accurately. The position offers a compensation of $52.00 per hour plus a sign-on bonus of $7,500.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid State RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at hire.
• Minimum clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Document patient information timely and accurately.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed accurately.
• Demonstrate competency in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
