Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-OKC is seeking an RN (Registered Nurse) for per diem night shifts (7p-7a). The hospital provides world-class inpatient post-ICU care with a strong orientation program and opportunities for advancement.

This role emphasizes thorough patient assessment, accurate documentation, and rapid response readiness. Per diem scheduling requires at least 4 shifts in a 6-week period, with potential move to full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
