United Methodist Communities The Shores, a UMC Community in Ocean City, NJ, seeks a Subacute Registered Nurse for per diem 12-hour day shifts to care for short-term rehab residents and help them return home.

You will monitor health, administer meds, coordinate admissions and discharges, and work with physicians and rehab teams to support recovery. NJ RN license and at least 1 year of RN experience required; subacute/rehab experience preferred.

• 1 year of RN experience
• Preferred: experience in subacute, skilled nursing, rehab, or hospital med-surg

Earn $45.33 per hour on 12-hour shifts caring for short-term rehab residents at UMC The Shores in Ocean, NJ.

Who you'll care for

Our subacute residents are recovering from surgery, illness, or a hospital stay, and most are working toward going home. As a per diem RN, you help them get there, one shift at a time.

What you'll do

• Monitor resident health status, recognize changes, and take appropriate action when needed
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines
• Coordinate the admission, transition, and discharge process to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomes
• Partner with rehabilitation teams to monitor progress and help residents achieve recovery goals
• Build positive relationships with residents and families by providing updates, education, and support

What you'll need

Required:

• Active RN license valid in New Jersey
• 1 year of experience as an RN

Preferred:

• Experience in subacute, skilled nursing, rehab, or hospital med-surg
