Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Kansas City seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) committed to providing world-class care to critically ill patients. You will receive extensive orientation and flexibility in scheduling, with a minimum requirement of 4 shifts in a 6-week period.

Your role will involve receiving patient admissions, conducting assessments, and ensuring proper documentation. A valid State RN License is mandatory, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. A competitive compensation of $43.00 per hour plus a sign-on bonus of $7,500 is offered.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document patient information accurately.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed accurately.
• Respond competently to emergency situations.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
