Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Float Pool based in Winston-Salem, NC. This role supports care across the NICU, PICU, acute care, hematology/oncology, and pediatric ED, delivering safe, high-quality nursing through the full patient-care process.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of RN and pediatric experience, BLS certification, and a completed accredited nursing program; pediatric float pool experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience and at least 1 year pediatric experience required.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Peds Float Pool

We’re Looking For

• REQUIRED: 1 year RN experience & At least 1 year Peds experience
• Float pool experience preferred
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
