Role Overview

The Registered Nurse will demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission of Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost‑effective manner, with skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an 18‑bed unit serving neuro, stroke, and ICU level patients who are not on ventilators.
• Provide high‑quality, cost‑effective patient care in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrate professional nursing practice that aligns with the Nurse Practice Act and Community Health Network standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program listed by the National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLNCNEA); or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Indiana license (Nurse Licensure Compact).
• Demonstrated experience in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management.
• Performance consistent with professional standards of practice and the Nurse Practice Act.
