Job summary

Norman Regional Health System’s Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift (7p–7a). The position requires a Diploma or ADN; a BSN or MSN is preferred. Current Oklahoma RN license and BLS are required, with ongoing re-training.

Previous healthcare experience is preferred. This is a Regular Full Time role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. The PCCU provides high-acuity care for cardiac patients undergoing procedures such as CABG,

Compensation / Benefits

• $27.83- $45.46/hr based on previous work experience
• $2.50/hr evening differential
• $3.00/hr night differential
• $3.00 Weekend differential

Departmental Overview

The Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) at Norman Regional Health System is a fast paced, critical care environment providing specialized, high-acuity care to patients with cardiac conditions, both pre- and post-procedure. In addition to caring for patients undergoing a wide range of cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and Micra-pacemaker insertions, and cardiac ablation, we also care for patients hospitalized with a variety of cardiac diagnoses.

Education

• Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in healthcare field preferred

(Above requirements an be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).

Licensure/Certification

• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
• New grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program
