Job summary

Community Health Network, based in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Surgery Center Plus to deliver PACU/Recovery care in a fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, delegation of tasks, and resource management to ensure optimal outcomes in a safe, cost-effective manner.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accredited nursing program or 3 years of related nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with Indiana license in NLC.
• PACU/Recovery RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in PACU/Recovery to achieve optimum outcomes.
• Collaborate with care teams, delegate tasks, negotiate and manage resources.
• Comply with the Nurse Practice Act and Community Health Network mission.
• Support delivery of safe, cost-effective care using state-of-the-art technology.

This RN will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Previous PACU/Recovery RN experience is required.
