Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Assists Physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Reinforces health care instructions to patients and families.
• Participates with team in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports patient vital signs and general condition.
• Records observations in patient charts.
• Maintains clean and safe environment for patients.
• Assists with unit management or acts as unit charge as assigned.
