Leo A. Hoffmann Center (LAHC) in Minnesota is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for evenings and weekends to support adolescent clients in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.

You will coordinate medical care, administer medications, monitor health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliant, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Current Minnesota RN license in good standing.
• Preferred 2+ years experience with mental health.
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the physical and mental health needs of clients.
• Coordinate ongoing medical services and healthcare appointments.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications per physician orders and facility policies.
• Collaborate with the agency psychiatrist and treatment team to support client psychiatric care.
• Communicate medical concerns, observations, and recommendations to the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide accurate, timely, and thorough documentation consistent with client treatment plans and regulatory requirements.

The Leo A. Hoffmann Center (LAHC) is a nonprofit Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) serving adolescent males ages 11-17 with complex mental health and behavioral health needs.

A PRTF provides a highly specialized level of care that is more intensive than traditional residential or day treatment services, while offering a more therapeutic and relationship-based environment than an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Position Summary

LAHC is seeking Part-Time Registered Nurses for evening and weekend shifts. This position is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day medical needs of clients, collaborating with treatment and clinical staff regarding client symptoms and care recommendations, administering and monitoring medications, and ensuring compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements related to client healthcare.
