Job summary

Pine Tree Recovery Center in Westbrook, ME is seeking a Part-Time Day RN to join our addiction recovery team. You will monitor patients, perform admissions assessments, administer medications, and provide compassionate support for withdrawal in a collaborative clinical setting.

The role offers an in-person schedule with a flexible, part-time rhythm and competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications. Maine RN licensure is required or easily obtainable for recent graduates.

Responsibilities

Up to $42/hour based on experience (detox preferred)

We’ve built a truly unique and highly effective recovery experience, crafted by top addiction treatment professionals and inspired by invaluable feedback from our clients.

We are looking for a Part-Time Day RN to join our team one day per week. These staff members are critical components of our patients early recovery and an instrumental part of the positive life changing decisions a person with substance use disorder must make as they enter the world drug/alcohol free.

Qualification Requirements:

• License as a Registered Nurse (RN) valid in the State of Maine.
• Recent RN nursing program graduates are encouraged to apply, in addition to candidates with extensive nursing experience.
• Prior experience in substance abuse recovery / detox is preferred, but not at all required.

Responsibilities:

• Patient (client) monitoring, including regular vital checks and closely documenting conditions.
• Perform comprehensive assessment of clients at the admission stage to build the best care plan possible.
• Administer medications, including infections and oral supplements.
• Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support for clients going through withdrawal from substances and/or alcohol.
• Partner alongside clinical team members, including therapists and other mental health professionals, and be mindful of clients psychological state.
• Communicate with clients' family/friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
• Adhere to confidentiality best practices and ensure client privacy.
• Follow care regulations and standards set by law.

Pay & Benefits:

Ranging from $36-$42/hour based on qualifications, including years of experience in detox or transferable knowledge and level of education.

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
