Registered Nurse (RN) Part-Time - Child's Way

Job Overview

The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for Child's Way, our daycare center for medically fragile children. Child's Way operates from 6:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. This full-time position offers 20 hours per week (40 hours per pay period) with no weekends, nights, or holidays.

Requirements
  • Knowledge equivalent to that acquired through an accredited nursing school
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, pediatric experience preferred
  • Current nursing licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Current CPR certification
  • Analytical skills to assess patient conditions and plan care
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients, families, and medical staff
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 70 lbs, and perform physical tasks required for patient care
  • Emotional resilience to handle stressful or emergency situations
