Job summary

Connections in Ohio, Inc. is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support our teams with medication administration training and medication management. The RN will train Direct Support Professionals, assist with injections, and coordinate health-related activities with the full-time RN.

The role requires flexible availability, a reliable vehicle, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Starting wage is $40.00 per hour for 15–20 hours per week, with competitive wages and strong benefits

Qualifications

• A current Registered Nurse license.
• A current DoDD Trainer certification for Direct Support Professional Medication Passing course.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with iPhone, Windows and Microsoft Office including OneDrive, Excel and Word.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with 4 points or less on the driving record.
• Reliable vehicle with state minimum auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Train staff on Medication Administration Certification for Direct Support Professionals bi-weekly (two days).
• Assist with administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections to clients weekly as needed.
• Assist with other health-related activities in coordination with the full-time RN.
• Maintain on-call responsibilities and make decisions related to medication administration and health care needs.
