Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Palliative Care Team in a part-time, PRN role. Weekend on-call responsibilities are required as part of the schedule.

The RN must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a current state RN license with BLS certification. Cardiac RN experience is preferred to support comprehensive patient care in the palliative setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Cardiac RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Cardiac RN experience preferred

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
