Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time role features a rotating shift with on-call requirements reviewed during the interview.

Hours are 5:00am–7:30pm, with 8- or 9-hour shifts and no weekends or holidays. Requirements include ADN with BSN or higher preferred, a Virginia or compact state license in good standing, and a minimum of 2 years of acute or critical care

• Minimum 2 years acute or critical care (ICU/CCU/PACU) experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting.
• Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, deliver treatments and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and ensure safety and evidence-based care.
