Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU – Post Anesthesia Care unit to provide direct clinical patient care, assess and plan care, and implement interventions for assigned patients. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating multidisciplinary care, documenting nursing care, and delivering interventions aligned with medical plans.

Successful candidates will hold state licensure, BLS (ACLS, PALS, CPI, NRP preferred), and

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NRP preferred within department timelines.
• Higher nursing degrees are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care, assess and plan care for assigned patients.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care to ensure safe nursing practices.
• Coordinate patient care using a multidisciplinary approach and adjust care plans as needed.
