Position: Clinical Nurse II (RN) – Recovery/PACU – Duke Raleigh Hospital
Duke University Health System seeks to hire a Clinical Nurse who will embrace our mission of Transforming Lives, Transforming Care.
Department Profile:
This department cares for surgical patients pre- and post-operatively, delivering exemplary care to ensure an excellent patient experience.
Preferred experience: Prior experience in surgical services or critical care, including pre-op care, sedation administration, and post-sedation monitoring/care.
Shift:
Three 12-hour shifts from 07:00 am to 07:30 pm (Monday - Friday), with six Saturday shifts per year. Closed on 8 Duke-recognized holidays.
Job Summary:
Provide patient-centered nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. Participate in the clinical ladder, educational activities, committees, research, and other health projects. Adhere to all regulatory and professional standards, and maintain respectful relationships with patients and families.
