Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU at Paoli Hospital, working three of four weekends per month, 7am–7:30pm. The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care in a 23-bed PACU unit.

There is strong support for education and advancement, including Tuition Reimbursement up to $6,000 per year, plus opportunities for committee involvement and clinical ladder progression.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Critical Care (ICU/ED) or PACU experience required.
• One year PACU experience preferred.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or multi-state license verified via Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for PACU patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in Nursing Committees, Unit Councils and Clinical Ladder programs.
• Precept new staff and support ongoing certification efforts.

Working Three out of Four Weekends per Month as a Staff Nurse in PACU will offer you the experience of collaborating with an interdisciplinary team within the 23 bed unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. As a Registered Nurse, you would be caring for the PACU patient population.

Shift

Three out of Four Weekends per Month, Saturday and Sunday, 7am-7:30pm; Additional weekday hours available for pick-up if desired.

Experience

2 years+ of recent Critical Care (ICU/ED) or PACU Nurse experience required. One year of recent PACU Nurse experience preferred.

Education

RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
