Qualifications

• RN license in Connecticut
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred from an accredited program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Recover patients from anesthesia across general, regional, and conscious sedation with acute and ICU-level care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish and facilitate efficient interdepartmental workflows.
• Utilize teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and autonomy to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Role Overview

Join a new PACU team in a state-of-the-art healthcare facility, providing 24/7 post-operative care for diverse surgical and interventional patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Recover patients from anesthesia, including general, regional, and conscious sedation, requiring acute and ICU-level care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish and facilitate efficient interdepartmental workflows.
• Utilize teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and autonomy to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Connecticut RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred), with graduation from an accredited program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in PACU and/or ICU settings is preferred.
• Training available for step-down and Emergency Department RNs.
