Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in Nursing required.
  • Experience: No previous experience required.
  • Licenses: Valid Multi-State RN License required; if you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you must obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state you reside in within 30 days.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association BLS CPR required (within 7 days); ACLS and PALS required within orientation period.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses patient as ongoing process with physician and psychosocial input and documents in the chart.
  • Develops and documents plan of education on written care plan; adjusts education as patient condition changes.
  • Performs patient interventions completely and proficiently with age-specific competency for patients served.
  • Follows medication and IV Therapy policies including patient identification, understanding of medications, administering meds and reporting interactions 100% of the time; monitors first-dose medications for adverse reactions.
  • Interprets diagnostic data and takes appropriate action, e.g., notify physician for critical lab values per hospital protocol.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Job Summary

This 100-bed facility features advanced technology, all-new equipment, and a compassionate staff. Services include a 24/7 emergency department, an intensive care unit, a medical/surgical unit, and comprehensive women's care including The Nest, a dedicated space for labor and delivery.
