Cura Health is seeking an Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) to join our overnight care team in Minnesota. The RN will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care during nighttime hours, monitor vitals, administer medications, and respond to emergencies while maintaining accurate records.

Requirements include an MN RN license, ADN/BSN, and BLS certification with ACLS preferred. Prior overnight or emergency care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (MN).
• Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited program (ADN/BSN).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Overnight or emergency care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during overnight shifts, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical conditions, document changes, report concerns promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments per prescriptions, following safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies or urgent needs during overnight hours.
• Maintain patient records and shift handover reports for day staff.

As an Overnight Registered Nurse at Cura Health, you will provide critical patient care during nighttime hours, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the night. This role requires a vigilant, proactive, and skilled nurse who can manage patient needs independently and respond effectively to emergencies. Our overnight nursing team plays a crucial role in maintaining continuity of care and supports the overall healthcare team to deliver outstanding care at all hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during overnight shifts, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Respond swiftly to any medical emergencies or urgent patient needs that arise during overnight hours.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and shift reports for seamless handover to day staff.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and facility policies throughout overnight shifts.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families during nighttime hours.

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience working in overnight or emergency care settings is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful and emergent situations calmly and effectively.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
