Job summary

Shriners Children's Chicago is seeking a part-time RN (20 hours per week) to join our Outpatient Clinic team. You will provide comprehensive nursing care across service lines and support procedures in collaboration with our physician group.

Requirements include a BSN degree or in progress, current Illinois RN license, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates have 2 years acute care experience and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or in progress is required.
• RN license in Illinois is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Pediatric RN works as part of the Outpatient Clinic team to provide care to patients across all service lines.
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team approach in delivery of family patient-centered care.
• Responsible and accountable for care provided to patients in the clinic during each shift.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess patients, plan care, interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Work alongside physician team to assist with procedures and provide patient education.
• Outpatient Clinic team enjoys a great quality of life with weekday schedules only - no weekends or holidays.

Job Description - Chicago - RN, Part-time (20 hrs/week)

Shriners Children's Chicago is seeking an RN to work part-time (20 hours per week) in our Outpatient Clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• The Pediatric RN works as part of the Outpatient Clinic team to provide care to patients across all of our service lines.

Compensation

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
