Job summary

Paris Regional in Paris, TX, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care through planned interventions, documentation, and interprofessional collaboration.

You will support daily living activities, coordinate care across disciplines, and educate patients and families while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Associates degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living: hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred
