Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedic Unit (4E) in an on-site, full-time night-shift role. Duties include patient care, delegation, supervision, and evidence-based practice in alignment with our mission and values.

Qualified candidates hold a Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Illinois RN license, BLS/CPR, and be able to position or transfer patients and stand for long periods. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma of Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• RN license in the State of Illinois required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy required.
• Must be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections.

Position Type: On-site

Full Time, Night Shift (Three 12-hour shifts, 6:45pm - 7:15am, Every third weekend rotation)

Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedic Unit (4E)

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Memorial, you will be responsible for delegation, supervision and provision of the nursing care of a designated group of patients through utilization of the nursing process. You will provide age‑appropriate care, participate in research when appropriate and incorporate research findings into evidence‑based clinical practice, contribute to quality improvement processes, and adhere to MHS Mission, Vision, and Values, and professional standards.

Pay

Pay Transparency $30.23 - $48.37. Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
