Position Summary

Position Summary

Administers patient care in outpatient or post-acute settings, with a schedule of 5/8-hour shifts or 4/10-hour shifts, no weekends. Located in Ocoee.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing skills to promote wellness, restore health, address health issues, and support end-of-life care.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans based on current evidence-based practice.
• Provide age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development principles.
• Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and document patient care, including assessments, education, medication administration, and safety.
• Demonstrate competency with nursing skills and equipment.
• Prioritize patient care according to standards and resolve problems effectively.
• Delegate tasks appropriately within the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school.
• Current Florida RN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC for certain areas.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience unless approved otherwise.
