ChildWay Pediatric Services is home to medically fragile children who need constant care. ChildWay serves as a non-profit organization within the Lansdale and East Norriton community that has retrofitted residential homes to accommodate the needs of the medically fragile population we serve. Our medical facilities serve to provide a welcoming environment for the children to live in.
ChildWay is currently seeking RNs and LPNs to join our dedicated team. Our ideal candidate is hard-working, passionate about the care they give, and willing to be a team player. We are currently hiring for Pool, Part-time, and Full-time positions.
*What you’ll do:*
At ChildWay, you will have a rewarding and fulfilling career as a nurse. You will be a vital part of the healthcare team, providing care to children who are both technologically and medically dependent. As a nurse at ChildWay, your responsibilities are, but not limited to:
· Support the mission, vision, and values of ChildWay.
· Supervise and monitor the nurse technicians.
· Provide quality care to individuals that promotes their rights, dignity and freedom of their choice and nursing/care assessment.
· Maintain medical administration records and ensure accuracy among medication administration records, pharmacy labels and physician’s orders.
· Assist staff with all aspects of care including but not limited to: consumer feeding, hygiene, repositioning, program, outings.
· Maintain individual’s medication, treatment, medical devices, protocol, and supplies. Ensure all staff are familiar with the above items. Provide training for staff if unsure of policies, procedure, medication, and treatments.
· Acts as Liaison between ChildWay and DME, Pharmacy and other Physician’s offices
*Job Requirements:*
· Active and current license to practice as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LPN).
· BLS Certification (Preferred, but not required)
· Trach and Vent experience (Preferred, but not required)
· Willingness to work at all locations.
· Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
