Job summary

Allure of Pinecrest in Mount Morris, IL is hiring compassionate RNs and LPNs for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, and ensure high-quality resident-centered care in a supportive team environment.

Pay ranges from $33.00 to $41.00 per hour with $7,500 sign-on for full-time RNs and $6,000 for full-time LPNs. Comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program.
• Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct skilled nursing care per Illinois Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
• Assess residents and identify changes in condition.
• Notify physicians and appropriate team members of significant clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions.
• Complete nursing assessments and documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, hospice, pharmacy, dietary and other team members.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. As a RN/LPN at Allure of Pinecrest, you will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising nursing assistants and ensuring the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with Illinois Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
• Assess residents and identify changes in condition
• Notify physicians and appropriate team members of significant clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Complete thorough nursing assessments and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Process and implement physician orders accurately
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Participate in MDS assessments and interdisciplinary care planning
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, hospice, pharmacy, dietary, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Promote resident safety through fall prevention and infection control practices
• Monitor nutrition, hydration, pain management, skin integrity, and wound care
• Collect laboratory specimens as ordered
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining residents' dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program
• Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
• Lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Assist with resident transfers and emergency evacuations
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion

Pay & Bonuses

• Competitive Pay: $33.00 - $41.00 per hour (based on experience and licensure)
• $7,500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time RNs
• $6,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time LPNs
