Job summary

Right Staff is seeking a compassionate licensed nurse to care for residents in our Iowa facility. You will assess needs, develop care plans, and ensure quality care using established nursing processes.

Candidate must hold an IowaRN/LPN license and CPR certification, demonstrate leadership, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure patient well-being and safe transitions across admissions and discharges.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license for State of Iowa.
• CPR certification.
• Demonstrates leadership and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the care and well being of the residents in your charge.
• Assess the residents’ needs and assist in developing and following individual care plans.
• Assure quality care is delivered through the utilization of nursing processes and guidelines.
• Identify and communicate changes in residents’ status to physicians and staff.
• Administer medications, treatments, and other direct care as prescribed and indicated.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.

• Push/pull 30 pounds of force required to move medication carts and to transport residents in wheelchairs.

Investigate and document incidents and accidents as required

Report any suspected abuse to appropriate authority

Document appropriately as needed or required in PCC

Push/pull 30 pounds of force required to move medication carts and to transport residents in wheelchairs

Qualification
