TranscendED in Monroe, NC is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN for a part-time role (20 hours/week) at our residential treatment facility. The nurse will ensure timely follow-through on physician orders and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate client care.

The ideal candidate has NC licensure, at least 4 years nursing experience, and familiarity with behavioral health or eating disorders. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential in this collaborative setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly nursing visits at the residential facility
• Complete nursing notes and EMR documentation
• Perform admission nursing assessments
• Monitor and record weekly vitals
• Administer medications
• MAR management
• Coordinate follow-up for medical orders (labs, EKGs) with psychiatry team
• Collaborate with Treatment Team for holistic care
• Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meetings
• Provide nursing consultation as needed
• Facilitate weekly self-care/hygiene group
• Provide first aid/body checks as needed

Job Summary

TranscendED is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to support our residential treatment facility in Monroe, North Carolina. This is a part-time role requiring 20 hours per week, ideal for a nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a therapeutic setting focused on healing and recovery while working within a collaborative and innovative environment. The LPN/RN will ensure timely follow-through on all physician orders and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive client care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly nursing visits at the residential facility
• Complete nursing notes and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Perform admission nursing assessments
• Monitor and record weekly vitals
• Administer medications as needed
• MAR management
• Coordinate follow-up for medical orders, including labs, EKGs, and other appointments with Psychiatrist, PMHNP, FNP
• Collaborate with the Treatment Team to support holistic care
• Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meeting
• Provide nursing consultation as needed
• Facilitate a weekly self-care/hygiene group
• Administer first aid/body checks PRN

Qualifications

• RN or LPN in good standing in North Carolina
• Strong understanding of nursing principles and clinical practices
• Proficient in medication administration and use
• Experience with eating disorder or behavioral health clients is preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Credentialing & Physical Requirements
