Job summary

TranscendED is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time role at our residential treatment facility in Monroe, North Carolina. The position requires 25-30 hours per week, working autonomously within a collaborative, therapeutic team to ensure timely execution of physician orders and comprehensive client care.

Responsibilities include weekly nursing visits for up to 6 clients, EMR documentation, med administration and MAR management, vitals monitoring, and coordination of labs

Qualifications

• RN in good standing in North Carolina.
• Experience with medication administration.
• Experience with eating disorders or behavioral health preferred.

• Interpret clinical data and initiate established protocols.

TranscendED is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support our residential treatment facility in Monroe, North Carolina (28110 & 28112). This is a part-time role requiring 25-30 hours per week, ideal for an experienced nurse who is confident working autonomously, yet looking to make a meaningful impact in a therapeutic setting focused on healing and recovery while working within a collaborative and innovative environment. The RN will ensure timely follow-through on all physician orders and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive client care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly nursing visits for up to 6 clients at the residential facility


• Complete nursing notes and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)


• Perform admission nursing assessments


• Monitor and record daily vitals


• Administer medications each morning and initiate med count


• MAR management

• Collaborate with the Treatment Team to support holistic care

Qualifications

• RN in good standing in North Carolina


• Strong understanding of nursing principles and clinical practices


• Proficient in medication administration and use


• Experience with eating disorder or behavioral health clients is preferred


• Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Credentialing & Physical Requirements

• Credentialing is required; details provided upon application


• Must be physically able to perform standard RN duties as needed
