Job summary

Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, located near the CT/RI border, is seeking RN and LPNs with multi-state licensure. Flexible full-time and part-time roles available on all shifts: 7 am–3 pm, 3 pm–11 pm, and 11 pm–7 am, with daily pay options.

RN: $40-55/hour all inclusive; LPN: $35-49/hour. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, 401(k) with match, health/vision/dental, life insurance, EAP, and shift differentials. This employer is an equal opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN or LPN license in Rhode Island or multi-state CT.
• Valid BLS (CPR) certification.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per physician plan and plan of care.
• Follow care plans set by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per POC.
• Monitor residents, report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for high-quality care.
• Ensure infection control and nursing regulatory compliance.

$1.50 Shift Diff for 3 PM - 11 PM

$2 Shift Diff for 11 PM - 7 AM

RN: $40-55/Hour (all inclusive)

LPN: $35-49/Hour (all inclusive)

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Rhode Island/Multi State CT.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
