Lifepoint Health in Nevada seeks a registered nurse to provide direct perioperative patient care across the surgical setting, following the nursing process and applicable standards of practice.
The role includes preparing and transporting patients, documenting care, collaborating with the care team, and supporting pre- and post-procedure activities; an RN license in the state is required, BCLS is required, ACLS and PALS are preferred, and an associate degree is required.
Provides direct patient care in the surgical setting using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
