Pay range for this position is $33.91 - $51.04/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY: The RN Operating Room protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of a Registered Nurse licensure. In addition, collaborating with surgeons and providers on a multidisciplinary care team that provides care and coordination across the continuum. Assesses and evaluates the needs of the intra-operative patient's physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Supports family needs through communication and instruction, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains a professional disposition at all times.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licenses/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan). Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required prior to the start date of employment. Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN. Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment. Other skills/knowledge: Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications.
