Advocate Health University City Operating Room in Charlotte, NC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a nine- OR team dedicated to high-quality perioperative care.

The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, maintaining safety and delivering exceptional patient experiences across the care continuum. This role emphasizes collaboration and compassionate leadership.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Where You Will Work:

Atrium Health University City is a community-based facility with 9 Operating Rooms. We are located on North Tryon, next to the UNCC Campus. This facility is not a trauma center, but offers many specialty service lines including Orthopedics, Robotic, General, Urology and Gynecology procedures. We are the only Atrium facility that has earned the AORN Go Clear designation, for maintaining a smoke-free facility by managing surgical smoke plume. The team is a small, close-knit team and we participate in potlucks, and enjoy one another's company. We are a smaller Atrium OR and have a wonderful group of surgeons who are extremely collaborative and work well with all members of our team. Atrium Health University City is a wonderful environment for anyone who values relationships and promoting quality patient care!

We’re Looking For:
