Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking experienced RNs for its Surgical Services Float Pool to support Wake region ORs across Winston-Salem and surrounding facilities. Ideal candidates have OR experience and NC RN licensure, with professional growth opportunities within a renowned academic health system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• BCLS required.
• CNOR preferred.
• Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or equivalent.
• Three years of OR experience strongly preferred.
• Refresher course required if no OR work in 5+ years.

In this position, you will support the Wake region ORs (Winston-Salem, Bermuda Run, North Wilkesboro, Elkin, High Point, Lexington). Job Summary

Renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patient.Provides direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

What You'll Need

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program required.
• 3 years of experience strongly preferred.
• Refresher course required for nurses who have not worked in an Operating Room for five years or more.
• Current licensures to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• BCLS required.
• CNOR preferred.
