Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Surgical Services Float Pool. You will support Wake region ORs across Winston-Salem and nearby facilities, providing skilled, patient-centered care with professional collaboration.

The role emphasizes flexibility, ongoing professional development, and adherence to nursing standards. Our Float Pool offers growth opportunities within a renowned Academic Learning Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program.
• 3 years of OR experience strongly preferred.
• Refresher course required if not worked in OR in 5 years or more.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BCLS required.
• CNOR preferred.

Job Summary

Renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patient.Provides direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Position will require floating within the Wake region:

• Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (Winston-Salem, NC),

• Davie Medical Center (Bermuda Run, NC),

• Wilkes Medical Center (North Wilkesboro, NC)

• High Point Medical Center (High Point, NC)

• Lexington Medical Center (Lexington, NC)

What You'll Need:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

• Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program required.

• 3 years of experience strongly preferred.

• Current licensures to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
