Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room ECHI (CVOR)

Join ECU Health as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room ECHI (CVOR).

Position Overview

East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center is the region’s leading facility for cardiovascular care, featuring clinical space, diagnostic services, and specialized operating rooms including a hybrid OR. The institute has 120 beds dedicated to cardiac and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards, and ECU Health policies.
  • Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members and delegate tasks as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current NC RN license or licensure in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
  • On-call required, minimum one night/week and one weekend every six weeks.
