Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator for the surgical services line. You will mentor staff, circulate in cases, coordinate OR schedules, ensure equipment readiness, and manage inventory to support efficient, safe patient care.

This role requires strong leadership, ongoing staff education, and collaboration with surgeons. A BSN is preferred and Florida RN licensure with BLS/CPR certification; CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred with 3–5 years OR experience or equivalent surgical service line experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• CNOR preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Shift: Days

Job Type: Full Time

The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator demonstrates expertise and knowledge in surgical service line. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and patient for each procedure. Demonstrates knowledge, etiology, and description of detailed procedures and correlating instrumentation involved with service line procedures. Stays current with new techniques and mentors the staff. Assists with staff education. Circulates in cases to assist the surgeon and to mentor new staff to these procedures. Assures that all equipment is available and in working order. Manages the equipment and inventory and is responsible for organizing the cases on a daily basis. Orders supplies as needed to maintain the necessary inventory for each case. Works with management to coordinate cases and staff.
